self portrait

You know, there’s an exercise in psychology which I personally find quite curious. It’s pretty simple yet can reveal a lot about your personality, something you couldn’t even think about, something deep, hidden in your subconsciousness. It’s a self-portrait. You can use any materials, from collages on paper or on a digital board to crayons or paints - whatever you prefer. The technique itself will be described at the end of the article, now i want to focus on something else.
I started with psychology cuz it’s an essential part of my life, and a significant part of texts here will be dedicated to various techniques, contemplations and just my thoughts on some topics. There won’t be any advice or tips, just my reflections and personal experience. I want this place to be safe, with no judgement or criticism.
Sooo, talking about a self-portrait, i’d love to show you mine, thereby introducing myself to you, hehe.
I love simple things. Like good food, sunny days, silence, animals. I have an adorable cavalier king charles spaniel that turned out to be anything but the cute doggie described on social media. As I mentioned before, I am into psychology, I took part in some retraining programs and am a psychologist now. Apart from that, I’ve always been into languages which i will also talk about here. I sometimes draw and I used to have a camera, mb i will get back to photography a bit later.
Sometimes i feel like a potato and cannot force myself to do a thing, other times i overwork and feel exhausted. I have a usual life, my own ups and downs and i feel that i need some outlet for my emotions and thoughts, so here i am. Hello, my reader, and welcome to my safe place 🌱
